Wrapping Up the Semester

Good evening everybody! I hope your day went well. Today was the final day of the semester that I had two classes in a row. My last class is on Thursday which is crazy to think that the first semester has gone by so quickly.

Usually I would have two classes on Thursdays, but our last English class was last week. This week we just have screenwriting instead of screenwriting and English. Let me tell you, I’m not complaining at all (as much as I enjoyed English, it was still a literature class).

We had our last directing class this morning which was bittersweet because our professor is such a sweet person. They really wanted to connect with each of us and was always incredibly kind and funny. They had lots of great stories to tell. Today, they told us about the time they worked with Leonardo DiCaprio (WTF) when Leo was only 15. It was on a movie called This Boy’s Life. They’d rather I didn’t share the full story, so what I’ve told so far is all I can say. It was very cool to hear. At the end of the class, they shook our hands and thanked us for such a great semester. I could tell they were starting to tear up. I’m going to miss their class.

After that I had post production. SO BORING. Literally didn’t do anything. Come to think of it, I didn’t really learn hardly anything in that class at all. All I learned was how to use AVID (a video editing software). I don’t think I learned anything about how to edit videos at all. Bummer.

I’ve got some planned videos coming starting tomorrow, so stay tuned for those!
