Hello fellow sleuths! Yesterday was one of the craziest days I've ever seen in the Nancy Drew community.
There were so many emotions, discoveries, and discussions. HeR Interactive gained nearly 1000 new followers on Instagram. But most important of all, HeR seems to have rediscovered their footing and I think the community senses that.
I haven't seen the community go this crazy in ages. We haven't had an inkling of news about ND34 that came directly from HeR in a long time. All they've been saying for years is that they were working on a new game and would share more when they could. Apparently, yesterday was one of those times. Despite the fact that they sent out the email newsletter on April 1st, it all turned out to be pretty legit. For those that missed the email newsletter, you can view it by clicking here. I highly, highly, highly recommend signing up for their newsletter if you haven't already! We don't know if and when more emails like this will be arriving in our inboxes, so it's best to "make like a boy scout and be prepared!"
Last night, I hosted a livestream discussing everything that happened yesterday and brought on multiple fans to chat about everything in a voice chat. One of my all-time favorite discoveries that came out of yesterday came from Gooba and Jetpack. They noticed that HeR actually put the trademark number for Mystery of the Seven Keys (#97071234) on the newspaper used as an announcement for subscribing to their newsletter, plain as day. I was absolutely stunned. You can view that moment by clicking here. If you want to view the full livestream (which I highly suggest you do, there was a lot of amazing chat and Nancy Drew nerdiness for over 2 hours!), you can see it here:
In the coming days, I'm going to be making several new videos and have already started prepping by gathering images and doing research. I'm super excited and it really feels like things are starting to progress and move along in such a fun fashion. It feels so good to have new information to work with and celebrate. I can't wait to see what's coming next!
That about wraps up today's post. Until next time, detectives!
