Hello fellow sleuths! I wanted to tell you about a little project I've been working on recently. It's nothing exciting, but something I've been wanting to do for quite some time. There are some things about the Nancy Drew games that I've known about, but never put all in one place. Specifically, I've been wanting to put together my own definitive list of all the death scenes and Easter eggs that are available for each game. Obviously, you can find videos and wikis all over the place that have all that information, but that means I've got to go searching around for what I'm looking for. Now that I've put together my own lists, I can have these printed out (or kept on Google) for easy access at any time. These lists will come in particularly handy when it comes to recording the next beta playthroughs. I'll be able to refer to them and see whether or not those game specific Easter eggs/death scenes are the same in the beta and finished game.
My next plan is to make a list of all the phone characters available in each game and add them to each of the game pages. Right now, the "Characters" section of each game page feels too much like HeR's website. I want to add a bit more than the general marketing stuff. Unbeknownst to y'all, I was doing a little bit of behind the scenes research over the last couple days. My main interest was to try and get a merchandise store fully integrated into the website. I found a place that could do it, however it proved to be too difficult and confusing for my taste. Gonna have to stick with Teespring, I guess! There's nothing wrong with that, it just means having to link to another storefront. But I guess that's usually what most companies/people do... That about wraps up today's post. Until next time, detectives! Huw
