Hey all! I hope your day has been splendid! Mine’s been pretty great so far. Just got back from a day with my uncles and cousins. One cousin had a birthday two days ago and another has a birthday tomorrow. We all had brunch together then we went to the Anthropology Museum at UBCV. For breakfast, I ordered some pancakes. They were sooooo good! If you are ever in Vancouver, I highly recommend going to L’Abattoir. It’s a lovely restaurant and they have some excellent food. Before going to the museum, we walked around Gastown a bit. One shoe store called John Fluevog had one of the best buildings and locations ever. If I ever get rich enough to design and build my own house, I want it to look like this. The roof, front, and back of the building is all glass. The ceiling must have been at least 40 feet tall. The second level looked like a back room/design studio. It was totally a place I would work and live. The back of the building was overlooking the train station and harbor. Very much my style. On to more Nancy Drew-related things, HeR Interactive is having a Black Friday sale next weekend. It features 50% off any game physical or digital (while supplies last) and doesn’t count for pre-orders (MID). The sale ends on December 2nd. Can you guys believe how close we are to the release date for Midnight in Salem? It almost feels surreal. Are you guys looking forward to it?
Earlier today, I watched a video stating that when YouTube’s new terms of service get put into place on December 10th, YouTube has the right to delete channels and/or content that isn’t monetized. I got really worried that I would fall into that group as I don’t monetize my videos because I’m not yet eligible. I’m very close, but not quite there. Later in the day, a friend of mine sent me a screenshot of a response from YouTube to another content creator who shared the same concerns as I. YouTube said that their new terms of service wouldn’t affect creators or viewers in any new ways. Just in case, I’ve spent most of my free time downloading videos I didn’t have saved (past livestreams). Finally, can you guys spell your name with elements from the Periodic Table? I can. HUW translated into elements is Hydrogen Uranium Tungsten. I’m not a scientist, so I don’t know what would happen if you mixed those three elements in real life, but I know that mixing them in text does no harm. That’s it for today! Have a great rest of your afternoon and I’ll be back tomorrow! Huw
