Hey folks! So sorry that it’s been so long since the last blog post. I had to finish up exam week, then I finally flew back home on Saturday. On my first full day home (Sunday), I wasn’t scheduled to work, but I wanted to go down to the store anyways. I ended up working for nearly 4 hours. It was really nice to be working again.
I saw an amazing film last week that I highly recommend to everyone. It’s called Koyaanisqatsi. It’s a documentary without dialogue, just sort of a profile on the world in the 80s that touched on the subject of life being out of balance and chaos. It was so good. I visited my high school for a good portion of the day today just to see some friends and hangout with some of the teachers I became really good friends with. In a small town, it’s not very hard to make a lot of friends. I’m a huge LEGO fan. Over the last few months, I made a few trips to the LEGO store in Vancouver. All LEGO stores have a wall dedicated to extra LEGO parts that the company has sent out to individual stores that they no longer have any use for. They are all brand new parts, and some are super cool and can be worth a good amount of money if bought in bulk. I picked up a few cups of parts from the Pick-A-Brick wall and have finally gotten around to sorting them out. I got so many new parts that I had to run down to the hardware store just to get a new storage unit for all the parts. Why am I doing this? Because when I get my own house, I plan on having a LEGO room where I can just build things. If I start building up my inventory of parts now, I’ll be cruising in the future! I apologize for not having been posting on YouTube recently, either. Part of that is due to the fact that I just forget about it, don’t have time, or just would rather do something else. I will upload some more episodes soon! I think that’s it for today! Have a great rest of your Monday and I’ll see you guys soon. Huw
