Chippin' Away at Projects

Hello fellow sleuths! I wanted to write up a quick behind the scenes update for y'all today.

Life's been pretty busy lately, and over the next few months it will be busier than I anticipated. This weekend I'm going on a trip to do some filming at a car show with some friends, our work employee roster will be cut in half for a few weeks starting in June (staff are going on trips and moving away), and I have a plethora of other jobs I need to do. In all the little moments of free time where I feel motivated, I continue to work on the website, plan projects, work on side projects, and on and on it goes. Sometimes it feels like nothing gets done, but other times I look at my work with pride. It's a really weird thing...

Anyway, today is my last day off before I'm gone for 4 days, so I've been getting a ton of emails written, phone calls made, and website additions established. It takes a long time to complete these projects mostly due to the fact that my website host can be... slow at some points, which isn't exactly helpful. But having Nancy Drew music in the background can really assist in moving things along.

Yesterday was Star Wars day which, for those of you that know me well enough, is one of my favorite days of the year. I'm a HUGE Star Wars fan. However, I also had to get a filling yesterday morning. I HATE the dentist. Anyway, it turned out to be our dentist's birthday yesterday. That got me excited because of the day it happened to be on, however when he told me he was born the same year that Star Wars released? I couldn't believe my luck. Hearing how legendary of a birthday this guy has made the dental process a lot less scary.

As I'm sitting here writing this, I'm currently listening to the soundtrack to Secret of the Scarlet Hand. I realize now that this might be one of the most boring blog posts I've written and I seem to ramble on about nonsense, but the gist of the post is that I'm slowly getting stuff done and life is about to get very busy! I have tons of stuff planned, but finding the time to do it will become more and more scarce. Fingers crossed I can blast through some of the other projects I've got lined up in order to get to the more fun stuff faster!
