Fun Facts:
  • This was the final game to be called the Special Edition if you pre-ordered the game during the pre-order period. Starting with Alibi in Ashes and ending with Sea of Darkness, Special Editions were called Bonus Editions.
  • This game featured an updated cellphone for Nancy which lasted for the next 6 games.
  • The next game in the Mobile Mysteries series was supposed to be based off of this game and called Castle Finster (iCAP), but the game was never made.
  • This was the first game to use only 1 disc for installation and gameplay since Secret of the Old Clock. HeR swapped out CDs for DVDs which allowed for more storage space on the disc.
  • The board game created by Karl (Raid!) instantly became a fan favorite. It appeared in The Shattered Medallion as a mini game and one fan even recreated it as a real board game.
  • HeR Interactive didn't make a microsite for this game as a promotion. Rather, they made faux interviews with the characters from the game and upload those videos online.
  • Whenever you purchase this game digitally from HeR Interactive's online store, you will get the Bonus Edition of the game.
  • Sonny Joon's resume can be viewed in this game. It teases two future games: Tomb of the Lost Queen and Midnight in Salem.
