Website Update 12.10.2024

Hello fellow sleuths! On this Tuesday, I thought I'd share a tiny update on some work I've finished on the NDW website.

One aspect about my website that I had never really made available before was the ability to purchase the games from your favorite online storefront, whether it's from HeR's website, Steam, Big Fish Games, or something else. Earlier this year, I had added "Buy Now" buttons to about half the games, but was really lazy with the other half. This morning, I powered through it all and now all the games that are still available for purchase have links that point towards all the various places you can purchase the games! Below is an example of the game page for Nancy Drew: Alibi in Ashes.

I've got a few more additions that have been "in progress" for a LONG time, and I want to keep working on getting those all finished. One big one which will definitely take the most time is adding a voice sample of each character to their game page. The first five games all have this feature available, but I still need to add it in to the rest of the games. Below is an example of how it looks on the page for Nancy Drew: The Final Scene.

My next big goal is to keep chipping away at adding the voice lines to give fans the chance to hear what these characters sound like, even if they've played the games a billion times over. It's always fun to have a listen to the characters in these games, isn't it?
